Stagecraft and Theatrical Design Intensive: Bringing Characters to Life through the Magic of Makeup and Special Effects

Lyn Marie Neuenfeldt is a WI native who has spent over 20 years working in the Film an
Broadway industry (including: Jim Henson Company, Lion King Tour, Phantom of the Opera
Tour, Grease Broadway Tour). She returned to WI in 2011 to pursue her dream of opening her
own sculpture studio. In 2014 she began a new adventure collaborating with High School
productions around the US to pass on her professional skills and knowledge to a new
generation of talented artists and performers. Lyn Marie continues to Travel occasionally as a
Film and Broadway Makeup artist, as well as designing, sculpting and illustrating for a variety of
Media. She shares a home in the woods of WI with her partner and 2 rambunctious cocker
spaniels who are fixtures in her workshop.

Class will cover a variety of skills including character design, practical and special makeup application and  techniques to help bring your character to life on stage, and an overview of materials and information to use throughout your theatrical journey.
